Playa del Coco Condo Details
Scuba Diving and Snorkelling: We recommend Octotal Beach Resort for your scuba diving and any snorkelling excursions. They have the nicest dive boats (with toilets!) and have excellent dive masters and dive instructors. They also have equipment available for rent and can provide lessons as well. The resort is a 10 minute drive away from the condo - but it is definitely worth your while to travel the extra distance! You can also snorkel right off Coco beach off the rocks on the far right side of the bay. You can do the same at Ocotal beach as well off the rocks on the far right side of the bay.
Canopy Tours: We highly recommend a canopy tour while you are in Coco. We have used The Congo Trail canopy tour. Their guides are all excellent, safety is a high priority and it is LOTS of FUN! You can do just the zip lines (approximately 2.5 hours) or you can combine this with a jungle tour and a visit to their monkeys, reptiles and butterflies. The Congo Trail is located approximately 6 kms from Coco on the road back to Liberia. Watch for the large billboard on the right side of the road. Turn at the billboard and travel approximately 9 bumpy (and sometimes wet) kms to reach Congo Trail.
