Right next door is the Post Office and the public library. Behind the library is a small shopping center with a Dollar store, an Ace Hardware, Rumrunner’s Tavern and Restaurant and a good pizza restaurant. There are approximately 30 restaurants within walking distance and there are lots of clubs and nightclubs. Comedy night at Gregory’s on Thursday is usually very good and downstairs the steak is the best. Also there is an Elk’s Lodge and a Masons Lodge within a few blocks.

Don’t miss the shark feeding by a diver every Sat. @ 11:00 at the Cocoa Beach Surf Company Clothing Store and Surf Equipment Rental. Right next door is the world famous Ron Jon's surf shop, open 24/7. Ron Jon’s has everything you need for the beach either to buy or rent plus tons of other stuff.
