A very special vacation place: Our penthouse vacation condo is a very special getaway indeed. As you can see from the pictures, there is a beautiful lush view of the pool, golf course and mountains from main living room, penthouse, and balcony/Jacuzzi area. The quiet serenity invites colorful birds to perch upon the mango tree while you and your family lounge in the pool or deck eating areas. A short half mile walk along the famous Palma Real golf course puts you at the beach for a quick lunch or day of fun in the waves. The pool at the complex is absolutely first rate and most guests don't even bother with the beach the majority of their stay! Tropical ceiling fans blow the soft mountain winds through the unit, or you can rely on good old airconditioning if you prefer (most like the cool winds or fans).

Incredible rooms: The living space is huge, around 1800 square feet - far more than you could ever get at a beach hotel (most are half our size). The units are brand new, built in 2007, and uniquely include a full private laundry room with washer and dryer. All surfaces are beautifully crafted tile so spills are easy to clean and beach or pool water is not an issue. The Living area and penthouse general area are so huge they can accommodate extra cots or sleeping bags if the need arises. The kitchen is gourmet quality with overhead wine glass rack, fun set of pots & pans, and, of course, an outdoor BBQ as well as the indor range & oven.

The perfect jumping off point: Most people just while away their vacation time poolside reading, drinking, chatting, relaxing. But the condo serves as a great 'base camp' as well. Fishing is world class. I have caught many a Yellowtail Tuna within a couple of miles of shore. Or go for Dorado/MahiMahi, Roosterfish, or marlin! For golf, choose between Palma Real (which we are situated on), or perhaps take a $3 cab to the Marina course for a change of scenery. Snorkeling and scuba are always popular at La Ropa or many of the other local beaches. Surfing is fabulous in and around Ixtapa during the summer season. Go jet5skiing or parasailing. Perhaps even take a car ride into the jungles or visit the many small towns to find fabulous deals and have lunch with the friendly people in the safest area of Mexico!
