Quepos Details
Manuel Antonio National Park: One of Costa Rica's premier tourist destinations located only seven kilometers south of Quepos. The park combines natural primary and secondary forests, exuberant wildlife, and pristine beaches in one amazing location on Costa Rica's Pacific coast. Manuel Antonio National Park has 109 species of mammals and 184 species of birds and is one of the most beautiful and biuo-diverse areas in the world.
Rain Forest Exploration: There are many tours of the rain forest available in the area; from Canopy Safaris to hiking. We are happy to help arrange any activities you might want to enjoy while staying at Casa Elsa. As well, we would be happy to arrange tours for snorkeling, diving, fishing, white water rafting and horseback riding.
Getting to Quepos: You can travel to Quepos by car or on regularly scheduled flights. Both Nature Air and Sansa, fly from San Jose to Quepos. The flight from San Jose takes about 20 minutes. It is a beautiful three and a half hour drive by car from San Jose. The villa is situated between Manuel Antonio national park and the town of Quepos, on Costa Rica's Pacific coast. Quepos is a fairly good sized town with a large hospital, banks, markets, stores, hotels, bars, restaurants and main bus terminal.
