Coeur d 'Alene House Details
This chalet style home with loft is great for large families or groups of friends. It has an open floor plan with 25-foot ceilings with large windows looking out to the Bay and Forest. Located on the quiet and peaceful Kidd Island Bay and surrounded by forestland, you'll see wildlife and enjoy nature. All the roads are maintained by DOT during winter and a beautiful drive to the Home in summer. Hiking and biking in the summertime and in the wintertime, the front yard becomes a nice sledding hill for the kids. As you walk in front door, a large open living area called the 'Great Room' greets you. In Coeur d'Alene we think cooking is a main hobby, so the Home is built with open areas that comprise of the living, kitchen and dining room. You can cook and socialize at the same time.
Your family or group will enjoy the spacious living area with two couches (one is a queen futon) and summertime an air-conditioned unit to stay cool as well as a pellet burning stove with brick hearth to stay warm during the winter. This faces a large TV with cable that allows access to all the premium TV channels. The dining area has a 12 top table with nice seating and is perfect for entertaining and dining. The kitchen, surrounded by countertops, and barstools, is adjacent to the dining and living area, and is large enough to accommodate chefs cooking up amazing meals. The kitchen has another bar with stools, and ample cupboard space with all the amenities you may want or need during your stay. Off the dining area is a door that exits out to a sunny wrap-around deck. The deck has been outfitted for plenty of seating. The deck and house sits off the main road, so you have privacy with a very large yard, as big as a football field.
Patio furniture and a stainless steel barbecue make the summertime outdoor activities worth looking forward to. Off the side yard is deck with forest views and lower deck with hot tub. You can soak in the tub for hours, enjoying the views. Down the hall from the living area, are a full bathroom, laundry room and children’s bunk bed room. The loft room above has a queen bed as well as queen futon, and has glass skylights with natural lighting. Additionally, a view that looks out to the Bay and Forest the house sits on. Downstairs are three more bedrooms and a foyer bunk bed. The master bedroom faces the bay. It is large and has a queen bed, futon/bed, and TV/VCR. A full bathroom with double vanity is just across the hallway. At night you can see stars, and in the morning you can see the colors of the sunrise. Next to the master is another bedroom, also facing the bay, with queen bed and TV. And just down the hall is the fifth private bedroom with queen bed and TV also.
