Robbinsville Cabin Summary

Sweetwater is a wonderful little cabin in the Nantahala Forest region of the Smokies. Enjoy 7 private acres that back up against the Nantahala National Forest. Relax in rocking chairs on the huge covered porch, or hike the mountain path at the back of the cabin. While Sweetwater is only a few miles from town, you'll feel like you're in the middle of the forest with not another cabin in sight. Lose yourself in the seclusion of your own hammock under the poplar trees or simply be glad you're away from it all . . . even if it's just for a little while. At night, sit around the fire pit , tell some stories or roast marshmallows. During the day, enjoy the cabin or take an adventure without spending a fortune in gas. We're within an hour of more activities than you can do in a month! When they say, 'LOCATION,' they're saying Sweetwater.

This area of Western North Carolina has lots and lots of rivers and two huge lakes. If you like fly fishing, whitewater, boating, etc. this is the place! Some folks call this area of the Smokies 'The best kept secret in the mountains.' Why? there's so much to do and not swarms of tourists to compete with. We're within less than an hour of Dollywood, Harrah's Casino, whitewater, horseback riding, the Smoky Mountain Railroad, Appalachian Trail and more. There are numerous hiking trails, waterfalls, and vistas of beauty. Visit us and find out; just don't tell everyone else! This is the location for enjoying the mountains without spending a fortune on gas.

You can visit the Biltmore House, Dollywood, Cherokee, the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Gatlinburg, music venues, Inspiration Park, Tail of the Dragon, Cherohala Skyline, Great Smokies Railroad, tubing at Deep Creek, whitewater at the Nantahala Outdoor Center, and more and more and more. Sweetwater is located close enough to all these places to make an easy day trip, but you might just want to stay at the cabin and relax. It's all up to you. We want your holiday to be WONDERFUL!
