Lovely, furnished, air-conditioned 3-bedroom log house. Picturesque setting with Spanish moss-covered cypress, oak and pine. Available for weekends or longer rentals, including weddings and parties. Situated on 62 private acres with streams and fishing dock. Large sunroom/breakfast room overlooks woods and water. Comfortably sleeps up to 12 people.
Cooking utensils are provided. Just bring your own linens and towels. The house is comfortably furnished with a large, open fireplace in the living room, and makes an ideal retreat or getaway.
The property is 90 miles south of Jackson, MS, 40 miles west of Hattiesburg, MS, and 100 miles north of New Orleans.
The quaint southern town of Columbia, 10 miles north, is noted for its charming Main Street and architecturally interesting City Hall.

The property is 90 miles south of Jackson, Mississippi, 40 miles west of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and 100 miles north of New Orleans. You'll find numerous restaurant choices serving southern cuisine, including barbecue, 'round table' style restaurants, steak and seafood restaurants, and several fruit and vegetable stands selling regional produce and products. This is a very wooded region of Mississippi, great for hiking and biking. There is an active historical society in the town of Columbia which will guide you to sites of local interest. You are only a half-hour drive from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, a charming university town with live theater, historic homes, fabulous restaurants and coffee shops.
