The Casita is fully equipped for stays of one day to several weeks, and is perfectly suited for romantic getaways. Also available is a guest membership for the full-service El Gancho Health Club. Each arriving guest is welcomed with a basket filled with homemade cookies, fresh fruit, coffee & teas, wine, chips & salsa. We also welcome you to relax in the lovely garden oasis of the main house on the property. There you will be able to relax in a shady area as you enjoy the beautiful flower garden and grassy lawn.

Santa Fe has a number of festivals throughout the year, from the famous Indian Market and Spanish Market to the Chamber Music festival, the Santa Fe Opera, the Wine & Chile Festival, the Albuquerque Balloon Festival and more. Our guests also enjoy Santa Fe's numerous art galleries, museums, churches and historic buildings. For concierge assistance we welcome you to come by our nearby inn, The Madeleine, where the innkeepers are able to assist you with ideas, directions and restaurant information.

We can replace all feather items with polyester/foam in case of allergies.

To that end: we clean using only non-toxic, earth-friendly cleaning agents and laundry soap; 80% of our electricity comes from wind power; we recycle all allowable glass, plastic and aluminum; we are replacing all the little plastic amenities bottles with high quality soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner from a dispenser; we use only earth-friendly fertilizers in the garden; as light bulbs wear out, they are replaced with compact fluorescent bulbs; as rooms are re-painted we use an Eco-friendly paint; outdoor lighting is done with motion detectors and low voltage bulbs; the toilet has been replaced with a low-flow toilet; shower heads have been fitted with water saving devices.

The Casita provides a lovely base from which to explore historic Santa Fe and its environs. Decorated in classic Santa Fe style, with local artwork, Mexican tile in the bathroom and the floor. Snuggle under your down comforter in the mornings, listening to birdsong, before heading down for some freshly roasted organic coffee. The staff at The Madeleine, the affiliated B&B nearby, is happy to provide you with ideas and directions to help you enjoy all of Santa Fe's many offerings. At the end of a long day of touring, relax in your cozy sitting area in front of a cracking fire in the kiva fireplace, sipping on the complimentary wine and munching on salsa and chips.
