Views of the lake from living/eating rooms and bedrooms. You can go swimming directly from a private backyard beach. Or, if you desire to be around more people, take a short walk to a community shared beach area (a total of four beaches within the community). Visit the walking footbridge and fish from the trout filled lake. Four sandy beaches or swim from backyard. Harwinton Lake is ranked #2 in cleanliness. Lovely, knotty pine interior, hardwood floors throughout, full bathroom, two bedrooms, plus a living room has a leather sofa which converts to a queen sized pull out bed, front foyer, galley kitchen and lovely dining room with windows overlooking the lake. Nearby drive in movie, golf, tubing and rafting, gambling at Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods is 75 min away. Nicely furnished with country antiques.

Harwinton CT is a quiet rural community that is close to antique shopping in nearby Litchfield. The Farmington river is another fun getaway stop for tubing down the lazy river. If you enjoy gambling, then a 75 minute drive to Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods will provide you with added entertainment and dining. If you're looking for a get away home, to relax and recharge your energies, walk out your backdoor to the lake and dive right in, or read a book in the hammock and 'chill-ax' as my kids like us to do, then is the spot for you. Two hours from Boston, 1 hour 15 from casinos in Ledyard CT, 15 minutes from Litchfield, 10 seconds to the lake!

  • Weekly rate of $1000.
  • Check is on Saturdays at 2 pm. Checkout is on the following Saturday at 9 am.
  • A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 is required to reserve a week. The balance of the payment must be paid two weeks prior to the vacation. All payments are in bank transfers, money order or bank checks. No personal checks accepted. We are not set up to take credit card payments. There is security payment of $300 which is refundable upon inspection of the property after vacation rental to protect against property damages.
