Unlike many tourist areas, Manzanillo's beaches, shops, restaurants, and night spots are free of annoying solicitors pushing cheap souvenirs, side trips, and time share offers. Manzanillans are cheerful, friendly, and helpful. They are cordial but never pushy in their interaction with visitors to their little piece of paradise.
