Standing on a unique promontory in Double Bay the house benefits from unobstructed views, refreshing sea breezes and direct access to miles of deserted beach. The owners and builders of this superb house, Kingsley and Marta, have blended the home into the surrounding countryside with great skill, all rainwater is saved in underground tanks and solar power augments mains electricity. The idea is to live a luxurious life, but a life that respects and replenishes natural resources. With several young children of their own, Kingsley and Marta have produced a family friendly house. The great swimming and snorkelling helps with entertainment.

Double Bay is one of the finest beaches in Eleuthera. The sand is very fine grain with a pink shimmer and you can walk for miles along the beach north or south often without seeing anybody. The area is very quiet and one can truly get away from it all at Veselka and be at one with nature. The turquoise sea is warm and inviting with good coral even quite close in. Or one can simply explore the area for its unusual wildlife (large land hermit crabs, beautifully coloured lizards, birds, fabulous dragonflies).
