Further information about The Landings: The Landings is a year round community of all age groups from young families to retired seniors, and a few rental properties. You can visit the web site to get an idea of the many activities that are ongoing. Most residents enjoy the beauty of the area, the wonderful restaurants of Sarasota, and many have a love of tennis and swimming.
Racquet Club physical activities: The Racquet Club has 10 clay tennis courts which are usually busy in the mornings. The facility has two exercise rooms, one with weight and bench machines, the other containing mostly treadmills, stationary bicycles, and stepping machines. Many people use the pool lanes for swimming laps throughout the day. The warming whirlpool next to the swmming pool is very relaxing.
Racquet Club social activities: The Racquet Club also has a small library which also serves as a game room, meeting room or a place for social gatherings. There is a larger meeting room which is used for other forms of entertainment and presentations, movies, or large parties and dinners. You'll find The Landings to be a vibrant community of friendly people.
