Arenal Lakeview Villa is situated on an acre of private rainforest bordering on a bubbling stream with a captivating view of Lake Arenal. The villa is a two level newly constructed, 1700 sq.foot, two bedroom, two bath home away from home near the mountain village of Nuevo Arenal in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Both levels are fully equipped with private entry so the house can easily be shared by two couples or a larger family with room for privacy. The villa has a relaxing and private atmosphere where you can sit on the second story balcony and sip Costa Rican coffee as you watch the incredible birds or the howler monkeys in the nearby trees or the sun setting over the Lake. A short walk down the hill will take you to the rain forest stream or the edge of Lake Arenal. You can enjoy relaxing, nature walks, boating, canopy zip line adventures or a trip to the active Volcano with its adjacent mineral hot springs. You can also plan a day trip to one of many beautiful Guanacaste beaches.

Arenal Lakeview Villa is located on Lake Arenal in Guanacaste Costa Rica. We are near the village of Nuevo Arenal and close to many of the country's top destinations. Lake Arenal's elevation is 2,000 ft, with cool springlike temperatures. This is a great local to get away from the hectic tourist crowds, and beat the heat at the beaches, but yet near enough to all of the major parks and beaches for easy day excursions. The always active Arenal Volcano is a safe 15 miles from the villa, and Monteverde is nearby as well. This rain forest climate is refreshing and the village is as friendly a place as you'll find. If you want to get away from the crowds and experience the real Costa Rica~~ this IS the place to do it. There are a great many activities in the immediate area as well. Both levels have private entrances and keys. The bedroom on the upper level has a double bed and a single bed with a private entrance onto the porch from which you can enjoy spectacular sunsets. The upper level also has a mini kitchen and dining area for convenience or for a second couple to enjoy their privacy. You can hear the sound of the stream from the bedrooms and can enjoy a rain forest walk along the stream that ends at the lake.

The villa is located on a 40 acre lakefront estate on Lake Arenal, but yet convenient to the village of Nuevo Arenal. The views of Lake Arenal, the surrounding mountains, the rain forest with numerous ponds and waterfalls,and extensive hiking trails are breathtaking from the villa. This truly is nature at it's best and It's only a 5 minute walk down to the lake from the villa.The forest surrounding the villa is teeming with wildlife and exotic birds and our colorful feathered friends will surely delight you whether you're a naturalist or not. More than 300 species of birds have been sighted on the property. Also, there are troops of Howler monkeys and other small animals to enjoy.

Activities: Lake Arenal is one of the top windsurfing destinations in the world with wind velocities varying through the day for both the novice and the accomplished windsurfer. From the property you have a perfect view of the wind turbines in the nearby mountains as well. White water rafting is fun and available at several close by locations. Waterfall are within an hour away at La Fortuna at the foot of the active Volcano along with various hot spring parks as the famous Tabacon. Costa fica is a combination of cool mountains, tropical beaches, stunning scenery and and opportunities for nature's observation.
