A short drive to Killington and just a few miles to the Mountain Top Inn & Resort with cozy tavern or fine dining, or a lovely half mile walk. There is XC skiing, snowshoeing, hiking and biking trails just out the door. This lovely restored county colonial is a classic Vermont retreat in winter or summer. The house sleeps up to 12; six in private bedrooms for two, one single, and two bedrooms containing a total of five single beds. There are three full baths, one with a jetted tub and shower. There is a modern laundry and half bath on the first floor. This incredible home is located in the heart of the Green Mountain National forest, a short walk to the lake. The Wooden Barrell General Store is only two miles away, has gas and fishing licenses, and is open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Only 17 miles to Killington, 11 to Pico, this is truly a year round gettaway. Also just a few miles from the Mountain Top Inn where The Vt Symphony Orchestra plays in July, fine dining, weddings, horse drawn sleigh rides, skeet shooting, etc. The area is blessed with numerous trails for hiking, XC skiing, biking and snow mobiling. Summer / Autumn festivals are too numerous to mention.
