Lazy Days River Retreat is a beautiful 14 mile drive from downtown Berkeley Springs. Along the way you will pass the breathtaking Panorama Overlook that is rated one of the top five scenic views in the USA.
Historic Berkeley Springs is famous for being the country's first spa, and was frequented by George Washington. In Berkeley Springs, you can enjoy the natural mineral baths, spas, arts and crafts, antique shops, mini golf, bowling, 1930's depression-era movie theater, and restaurants. Special annual events include the Apple Butter Festival and the Festival of the Waters.
The 6,000 acre Cacapon State Park offers the 18-hole Robert Trent Jones Championship Golf Course, 20 plus miles of hiking trails, mountain biking, horseback riding, swimming, fishing, picnic areas, basketball courts, tennis courts, a restaurant, and a recreation center.
The cabin is 1 - 1 1/2 hours from ski resorts such as White Tail, Civil War battlefields such as Gettysburg and Antietam.
