Austin House Summary

Come and enjoy the beautiful city of Austin in this recently renovated cottage located in a quiet, mature neighborhood just 3 miles from the heart of downtown. Built in 1927, Chateau Normandy was originally a part of Southside Church of Christ which was located on South Congress Avenue. When the original church building was replaced with a new brick structure, the frame building was divided into sections and relocated to city lots nearby to become small homes. Chateau Normandy has soaring 10 foot ceilings and is tastefully decorated with beautiful warm colors and a very comfortable eclectic mix of antique and new furnishings with a Country French accent. Each bedroom has a queen bed with plush 400 thread count sheets. The spacious bathroom has a large 5' walk-in shower and stacked washer and dryer for your convenience. Relax with a morning cup of coffee on the covered front porch or grill steaks outside and have a Texas Style Barbeque on the private rear deck!
