Cape San Blas Townhome Summary
This spacious home is located in the Barrier Dunes complex at Cape San Blas FL. The Cape beaches were rated #1 in the USA in 2006. The Cape is also the last pet and family friendly area along the Florida Panhandle. The home is about 100 steps to the beachside pool and beach access.
The main floor has a large living area with a queen sleeper sofa, dining area for up to 8, a well stocked kitchen and a half bath. There is also a large deck overlooking a stocked fishing pond. The second floor of the unit has 2 master suites (one queen and one king) each with a private bath. There is a deck off each suite and the king suite deck has both a gulf and lake view.
There is a spiral staircase to access the large loft area which is great for children. There are 3 twin beds in the loft with a TV and VCR for entertainment. There is plenty of space for the children to play games and lounge around. There is also a beautiful gulf view from the loft.

The complex has 2 tennis courts, 2 pools (one beachside) and 3 stocked fishing ponds that are great for the children. Barrier Dunes is located just outside St Joseph State Park which offers 7 miles of pristine beaches and bay access. There is great shelling, snorkeling and fishing in the park. There is also a hiking trail with overnight camping available.
Nearby there are charter fishing boats available in both Port St Joe and Appalachicola for bay or gulf fishing. Also nearby is the Port St Joe county club golf course. The Port St Joe marina offers scuba diving, boat rentals and sailing opportunities.
