Maunawili House is a very spacious (1,200 sq ft) guest house set in the tropical foothills of the Koolau range and offers spectacular mountain views from the private deck, living room, bedrooms and even the bathroom. The lush and cool location of the Maunawili valley is generally 10 degrees cooler than the town, providing a pleasant place to relax after a day at the beach or touring the island. The guest house is very comfortable and tastefully furnished with a spacious living room, high, open-beam ceilings, large windows, ceiling fans in every room and a well equipped kitchenette with everything to make your stay enjoyable. The unit is appointed to host 4 adults very comfortably and can accommodate up to 6 people.

Kailua is a very charming windward town where you will find the residents most pleasant and helpful. Kailua offers many restaurants that your hosts can recommend, interesting shops, golf courses, tennis and water sports such as windsurfing, para-sailing and kayaking. On the windward side you can also enjoy a day at Sea Life Park, encounters with animals at Kualoa Ranch, a beautiful scenic drive to the north shore and some amazing hiking.
