About Japanese tatami-room: There is no beds in the bedrooms, but do not worry!! we have 4 sets of futon mattress and beddings. A Japanese tatami-room can be used in many ways depending on the need or the situation. When you put a low table on the floor, the room becomes a living/dining room. When you open the sliding door and pull out futon to lay on the tatami-floor, the room becomes a bedroom. This way the Japanese have made efficient use of limited room.

About ONSEN hot spring: An onsen is a Japanese hot spring and believed to have healing powers derived from its mineral content. Onsens are a central feature of Japanese tourism often found out in the countryside, and are a major tourist attraction drawing Japanese couples, families or company groups who want to get away from the hectic life of the city to relax. Baths usually is public run by a municipality or often run as part of a hotel, traditional inn or B&B. Many of them out in the countryside do not allow swimsuits in the bath. You may find a private onsen bath at a room of fancy inns(Ryokan) which would cost you 3-4 times as much as our vacation rental. In our house, there's a ONSEN tap in the bathroom in addition to a normal water shower. You can enjoy your complete private ONSEN bath here!!! (If you are interested in learning japan deeper, please do try public onsen too!!)
