Drift fishing boats leave daily - a fun thing to do with the kids. Private charter fishing boats also leave from the inlet. Walk to inlet at end of day and buy fresh daily catch from the boat captains. Boat and jet-ski rentals nearby. Great restaurants along A-IA. Also grocery stores a short drive away to buy supplies for wonderful dinners cooked in gourmet kitchen. Great destinations a short drive away - Los Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, South Beach in Miami, Worth Avenue in Palm Beach - great shopping, sightseeing - and best of all - great weather, sunshine, outdoor activities, birdwatching.
