Duck Creek Cabin Summary
Deer's Acre is a beautifully wooded site, the large family home situated on one side, with 1/2 of the lot left open and forested, attracting many grazing deer in the early evening hours. The home has wrap around decks and sleeps 12 comfortably in beds, with cribs available. Four private bedroom/bathroom suites are situated on the top level, two bedrooms and a bath on the lower level, leaving the main level open for entertainment, including flat screen TV, cooking and eating. Outside there is a large fire pit, as well as teeter totter, swings, horseshoes, BarBQue, and tree house. But the best part of this cabin lies in its quick accessibility to city sites (Cedar City and its famous Shakespearian Festival as well excellent winter productions), skiing (Brianhead Ski Resort is 30 minutes away), fishing (excellent fly and rod fishing in four nearby lakes/rivers-with rods available in the cabin), and 3 gorgeous National Parks only 1 hour's drive away. You will think you are in Heaven!

Deer's Acre Cabin is located in the mountains 45 minutes away from Cedar City, Utah, home of the famous Shakespearian Festival and other live theater. The cabin is within an hour's drive of Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Cedar Breaks Monument. Brian Head Ski & Summer Resort is 30 minutes away, (4 wheel drive required in winter), and excellent fishing in a variety of beautiful lakes and rivers is almost at your back door. Winter snowmobiling rentals are available for the many beautiful local trails, as well as sled riding and cross country skiing, and Brian Head offers great downhill/alpine skiing and snowboarding. Coral Pink Sand Dunes are close at hand, as well as a large variety of hikes and mountain climbing geared for every skill level. The little village of Duck Creek, just below the mountain, has a fun craft store, small grocery, and excellent pizza and several other restaurants.
