Summer: Escape the heat and head for the hills. Enjoy the cool nights and comfortable days in the mountains. Take a canoe trip down the New River, fish in the trout stream, or take a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway to enjoy the lush green country side.
Winter Wonderland: Take a quick drive to Boone, North Carolina to enjoy one of the many ski resorts for the day. Return to the mountain and cozy up to the fireplace, enjoy a warm beverage or start a fire in the fire pit for brisk outdoor experince.
