Things To Do:: Fort Myers Beach is the perfect 'Florida Beach Town', Fort Myers Beach combines family vacations with fun and nightlife. Town Square near the pier is a great people-watching spot, while further down the island residential properties and condominiums make for a quieter beach experience. There are many beach access points along Estero Boulevard, allowing the public to enjoy the pristine white sands along the coast. It is a great vacation destination! Lover's Key is a wonderful family recreation area south of Fort Myers Beach and North of Bonita. Carl E. Johnson Park, operated by Lee County Parks, boasts wide sandy beaches, clean clear water, and the feeling of being away from it all - yet close to amenities and luxury hotels. The park entrance is between New Pass and Big Carlos Pass.
GETTING AROUND: Want to rent a kayak at Lover's key, stroll the pier at Times Square or just pick up groceries at Publix? No need get in the car because the charming old style trolley that stops one block away will take you there.
Golf: Fort Myers Beach Golf Club is a scenic executive golf course that is well maintained and has very reasonable green fees. The area is surrounded by many scenic and challenging courses making it a golfers dream vacation. Some of the older courses were played by old time summer residents like Henry Ford and Thomas Edison.
