$300 off our regular weekend rental rate (normally $1000)....we're all having a hard time in this economic climate and we'd like to give you all a break. This is valid toward the RENT only, the deposit is still $500 and the 9% tax & the $90 fee will still be applied.

We charge a fee of $115/wk ($90/weekend) which includes cleaning & community's rental fee of $50/renter.

We accept Visa and MasterCard.
Renters will be required to pay a deposit of $500 in order to hold your reservation. If however, your arrival date is less than one month away, you will be required to pay your balance in full immediately (rental fee plus deposit plus $110 fee).
The balance of your rental is due one month prior to your arrival. Once you arrive, your deposit monies become your Security Deposit of $500 which will be returned after our handyman and/or cleaning crew determines that the property was left in it's original condition and when the key has been returned to us.
Approval of a renter is contingent upon satisfactory review of application, which we will mail to you upon your request and

- The three bedrooms each have closets, individually-controllable electric heat and air conditioners. Two of the bedrooms are on the first floor and the third bedroom is on the second floor. The loft, which is on the 2nd floor, has two queen size futons. The guest room on the lower level (game room also on this level, as is the spa) also has two queen size futons. We ask that all guests bring their OWN linens and bath towels. All beds are QUEEN size. All other necessities are on site at the house. For families with small children, we do provide a pack n' play and a high chair for your convenience.

Lake Ariel Chalet Details
Renter Requirements: Renters must be 30 years of age or older and we will require photocopies of drivers licenses to ensure compliance with this rule. Families with children are the only exceptions to this rule. There is NO smoking in the house. NO CATS are allowed, EVER.
Community: For summer renters, there are two outdoor pools....There is a nice lodge at the nearby pool which offers games for kids & teens. There are tennis courts at this pool area which must be reserved in advance at the main office. There is also an indoor pool which is about 5 minutes drive and there is schedule of times that it is open. All community amenities require badges which we will provide to renters.Fishing: there is ample opportunity to do so and the fishing is great in all three lakes (Lake Wallenpaupack is the BIG lake, and the two smaller lakes in our community are called Deer Lake & Beaver Lake, which are both NON-power-boating lakes). If you wish to fish, you MUST get fishing licenses to do so (adults). It is a simple process and it is very inexpensive, but it could cost a lot of money if you fail to have one and get caught fishing without it! Please contact owner for website where you can purchase your fishing license. Children may only fish with a licensed adult present

Ski: There are two nearby ski areas: Tanglewood and Sno Mountain. Sno Mountain is fairly new, used to be called Montage Mountain but was purchased and they changed the name. It's an outstanding mountain which has a great ski instruction program which is wonderful for children. Both are about 20 minute drive from the house.
