Recently renovated in a style blending the Tuscan/ Chiang Mai interiors in late 2006, our newly purchased Chiang Mai House is located in a gated 'Mae Sai Cottages' community. It is situated on the hills of Mae Rim area, which is famous for its many attractions, such as elephant riding, monkey/snake shows, mountain biking, trekking, and atv (all terrain vehicle) rentals. The house itself sits under the shades of fully grown trees, which provides a cool and natural environment. The Doi Suthep Natural Park is nearby, giving the area the secluded private feel as well as unspoiled natural beauties. Downtown Chiang Mai can be reached by car in a few minutes, and it hosts a wide range of attractions such as fine dining and entertainment as well as many historical sites from the Lanna era. The region around the house contains fine golf courses with excellent conditions and challenging layout. Every aspects of this house and its surrounding area reflects the unique Chiang Mai feeling.
