Ludlow House Details
Located in Town: The house is one block from the center of Ludlow Village making it an easy walk to the shops and restaurants. It is less than a block walk to the Okemo Mountain shuttle bus stop allowing you to leave your car at the house while skiing at Okemo. Off street parking is provided. Killington and the Rutland area is 30 minutes away, experienced Killingon skiers can park at the Bear Mountain or Skye Peak areas and avoid the Killington Access Road. Easy drives to Stratton, Magic, Bromley, Ascutey, and Suicide Six.
Summer and Fall: Ludlow is a convenient jumping off point for boating, fishing and hiking. It is a short drive to the outlet malls in Manchester and there are many antique stores in the surrounding towns. Queeche Gorge is a short distance and a unique spot to visit in the Summer. The entrance to Okemo Valley golf course is 1.5 miles away. Many, high quality public golf courses are within a short drive of Ludlow. The Okemo trail head is approximately 4 miles away, which is a 5 mile intermediate difficulty hike up the back side of Okemo Mountain. It is a short drive to an access point on the Appalachian Trail.
Summer Events: Manchester Music Festival- Schubert: Melody Comes to the Mountains - through August 15th, Manchester. Manchester Music Festival- Young Artists Concerts - through August 13, Manchester. Weston Playhouse Summer Season - through September 15, Weston. Okemo Valley Music Festival, free concert series - through August 23, Ludlow, Cavendish, and Chester.
