Imagine yourself listening to seagulls over your head as you take your morning stroll 5 blocks to the Gulf of Mexico from our beach villa. It's '80 and sunny' more frequently than not. The sights and smells of beach life are everywhere. This calming place will entice you to look down to find sharks' teeth instead of your cell phone. Our place includes 2 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, office/sunroom, a spacious, bright living/dining area, kitchen, full laundry room, and 2 screened lanais. Fully furnished, it sleeps 4. Not only is the villa and neighborhood charming, but it is also only a 3 blocks walk to downtown Venice filled with fine restaurants, gourmet coffee shops and wine bars, clothing and antique stores, art galleries, and souvenirs. Right near the villa is a beautiful park perfect for young children along with tennis and basketball courts, and an intercoastal walk/bike trail. We welcome anyone ready to slow down, dig your feet into the sand, and sink your stresses into the Gulf.

There is something for everyone here. You can either walk, bike, or drive around this quaint spot of paradise. You may even fly into the island airport with your leer jet. Venice Island is self sufficient with Chamber of Commerce, grocery, farmer's markets, banking, churches, golf courses, and shopping, among the amenities. Bring your boat! There is room to park it at the villa and you can launch it at the nearby boat dock (located next to the yacht club) just 5 minutes away. It takes only another five minutes to access the Gulf. The island also features fun restaurants such as The Crow's Nest at the south jetty. You can watch dolphins and manatees swimming and playing as you take in your surroundings. Venice is 15 min. from Sarasota, 1 hour from Busch Gardens of Tampa, 45 min. from the nearest commercial International Airport, and 2 hrs. from the Orlando attractions.
