During the summer it is perfect for those wanting to enjoy the lake and mountain activities, and of course the casinos can be enjoyed year round. Heavenly Getaway is a free-standing multi-level duplex located in an area (Tahoe Village) adjacent to the Nevada side of Heavenly Valley. During the ski season it provides great access to Heavenly Valley, simply walk across the street to the Stage Coach run, strap on your skis/board and swoosh down to the lift. Heavely Getaway offers the conveniences and comfort of staying in a home while still providing access to the area's attractions.

  • The first floor boasts three bedrooms. Most bedrooms have two beds in them (either a king and twin or a queen and a twin. There are dressers/chests and a nightstand in each bedroom. All the bedrooms with the exception of one bedroom have a closet in them. The second floor also has three bedrooms. The loft has a king bed and four twin beds.

Notes: The first floor kitchen is smaller than the upstairs kitchen, but is still extremely functional. It has everything except an automatic dishwasher. It is great for fixing a little snack while playing pool or watching TV or before getting in the spa. The second floor kitchen is a full kitchen, which is fully stocked with all the comforts of home. There are two family areas, one on each floor. Sit down and watch a game of pool or chose a book to read. Upstairs there is plenty of seating for watching TV and eating in around the kitchen or at one of the tables.

Accomodation Details:: Heavenly Getaway is a large two level (plus loft) duplex with a two car garage. The first level has three bedrooms, two full baths, kitchen area, family room with a pool table, TV and wood stove and a balcony with a two/three person spa. The second level has three bedrooms and a large loft. There is one full bath on the second level and full bath in the loft. The second level has a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living area with TV and wood stove, and a balcony with a gas grill. The washer and dryer are in the garage.

Area Details:: The building is located approximately five miles past the South Lake Tahoe casino area, in an area with other private homes, private vacation rentals and time shares. It has terrific (ski-in/out) access to Heavenly, is away from the crowds for those that enjoy a little more solitude and is convenient for those that would like to experience the local attractions.

Things To Do:: Skiing is the main attraction during the peak season; in addition to the casinos, the area has new trendy shopping/people watching/ice skating/restaurants around the Gondola in South Lake Tahoe; the Spooner lake area (~15 mi.) offers cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, snow-shoeing, etc; During the summer the Zepher Cove area offers swimming, boat and personal watercraft rental, Tahoe Queen ride to Emerald bay, horseback riding; hiking along the Tahoe Rim Trail; mountain biking (bike-in/out) access; Golf on several local course including Edgewood Tahoe, host to the annual Celebrity Golf Championship.
