Beaches: The beaches at Palmas Del Mar are excellent with lifeguards at the area of the beach club and the hotel. The water is very calm and the temperature is excellent all year round. The water is cooler during winter season, but still it is warm because the temperature in Puerto Rico during that period of time rarely drops below 80 degrees. Around the beaches, you have access to beach bars, restaurants, and beach chairs for your enjoyment. Many of the beaches, depending on where you are staying, you can walk to them. You can easily access all the beaches by golf cart, bicycle, or vehicle. Since access to Palmas Del Mar is very controlled, none of the beaches are very crowded, so you will have plenty of space to enjoy the surroundings, while avoiding the masses of people. You can also rent or charter a boat at the marina, and visit some of the surrounding beaches that are nearby like Vieques, Fajardo, Luquillo, and Naguabo.

Restaurants: There are many restaurants in Palmas Del Mar to satisfy all flavors. There are elegant restaurants, more casual, and family oriented restaurants. The local cuisine is excellent, especially the fresh seafood all year round. There are Italian, Japanese, french, local cuisine, seafood, and American restaurants among others. Most restaurants do not require a reservation but will accept one if required or for large groups. Many of the restaurants you can walk to them, or arrive in a golf cart. Some of the restaurants will do delivery to your rental location, or you can inquire about enjoying a catering with friends or guests. Many of the restaurants have separate lounge areas where you can enjoy your favorite drink, wine, or refreshment and enjoy a relaxing moment. Some of the restaurants also serve breakfast, as well as lunch and dinner. Guests will have no need to go outside of Palmas Del Mar to enjoy their favorite meal at any moment.

Tennis Center: Palmas Del Mar boasts the largest tennis facilities in the caribbean. They have excellent instructors to provide group and individual lessons at various times any day of the week. All instructors are bilingual in both English and Spanish. The facilities operate even in the evening so you can enjoy tennis at your favorite time of the day. There are ball machines and racquets for rental so that you can practice your strokes or polish your game. You can call ahead of time to reserve your favorite court, a ball machine, or reserve a specific date for a lesson. You can also inquire about the many group lessons they offer and about lessons for children of all ages. During the summer, the tennis center offers tennis camps for children of all ages at various times. The tennis center has a well equipped store so that you can purchase any tennis equipment that you could need. The tennis center also has its own cafe where you can enjoy refreshments, lunch, brunch, or early dinner.

Golf: Palmas Del Mar has one of the largest golf centers in the Caribbean with 2 breathtaking courses with many holes overlooking the ocean and the entire community. The golf center operates all year round offering all the best equipment and facilities anywhere. There are many USGA certified instructors that will offer individual and group lessons at different times and dates of your choosing. Lessons are offered for ladies, gentlemen, and children of all ages. All instructors are bilingual in both Spanish and English. There is an excellent driving range and putting area where you can practice all your strokes and polish your game. At the golf center, you can rent or buy any equipment you need from all the major brands in the market. At the golf center, they also provide maintenance and repair to all your equipment at excellent prices. You can store all your equipment at the center if you choose. You can reserve tee times at various times of the day and discounted rates are offered in the afternoons during different seasons of the year. Various tournaments are offered during the year which players of all levels can enter and enjoy. The golf center has an excellent restaurant and lounge which offers many types of local and international cuisine as well as your favorite refreshment or drink. It is open into the evening. The center operates from early morning until sunset so you can call and reserve at any time.
