A dream house : This is the perfect vacation spot for gourmet cooks, gardeners, kayakers, bicyclists and families. A former dairy farm, Castle Shankhassick has delighted children and their parents for over 100 years. Cross country ski or hike on miles of woodland trails. Fish off the dock, or bring a kayak and paddle out to the ocean. Swim off the dock, or drive to the local beach. Just a mile from the University of NH, we offer nearby cultural events, the university library and sporting events. In August you can even pick your own blueberries and raspberries. .
