Volcano House Summary
'Volcano Hale Mauka' is a beautiful private (non-smoking) rainforest cottage nestled within the Ohia and ancient Hapu'u fern trees. Sit outside with a cup of Kona coffee on the beautiful lanai and listen to song birds welcome you here. This cottage is located 1.5 miles from the famous Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. You are a step away from the many wonders it has to offer. Walk in, to view Lava flowing into the sea. Explore lava tubes, walk through calderas.
Hale Mauka comes with kayaks, masks, snorkels, boogie boards and golf clubs. Kayak Hilo Bay or head to Kona to kayak with dolphins. The famous Black Sands beach is not far from the house.
Come home to soak in the 100 gallon soaking tub with a glass of wine gazing out into your private rainforest.
Sleep wonderfully on a king size tempur-pedic mattress, while listening to the sounds of the rainforest.
There is so much to do on the Big Island. Your stay at 'Hale Mauka' has it all for a wonderful adventure on the big island.

Volcanoes National Park is a must to see in your life time. Kilauea is the most active volcano in the world! There are times when you can hike to see the lava flowing into the ocean. There are many hiking trials throughout the park that are just amazing. You can drive down the chain of craters road where lava meets the sea.
Volcano has its own local winery. Here is a chance to taste Volcanoes unique blend of local grapes.
The village is an artist community. There are local art galleries nearby to explore. Sundays offers the farmers market where you can pick up unique gifts and organically grown produce.
The village offers restaurants with fine dining or stop off at the cafe to get a fresh fish burger.
There is also a golf course here in volcano, live theater in the park, and so much more.
