Tulum Hotel Details
The beach. We have a couple of boogie boards around if there happen to be waves. If not, there are always the hammocks. There are also cenotes for swimming or cave diving all over the area : Xel-ha, Dos Ojos, Grand Cenote, Caleta Tankah... A day or more for a run down to Punta Allen is worth the time. As is a guided tour of the Sian Ka'an reserve, a day to Coba, Tulum Ruins, etc We ask you to relax and enjoy your stay on the beach. Take in the stars, the moon, the sea breeze and the blissful quiet. We love this place and spend as much time here as possible. We are happy to make it available to you and look forward to welcoming you as our guests. In the mean time we are happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
Restaurants: there a number of great restaurants located within walking distance of Luna. Try Zamas, Maya Tulum, Casa Violeta, Casa Banana, la Vita e Bella, Hechizo, Mezzanine: all are close. There are also a number of enjoyable places in town: Charlie's, La Nave, Don Cafeto or Acabar. Many of these are wi-fi hotspots, by the way. Keep in mind that there is a nice outdoor kitchen! We have prepared some wonderful meals here. In addition, their is a nice outside stone BBQ! You can get fabulous fresh produce in town as well as herbs, local spices and other goodies. For fish we recommend Pat y Pat on the left side of the main road just before the roundabout with the obelisk. For vegetables, you can try La Flor de Tulum or Pool, just off the main street to the left. For other groceries, try try Minisuper Mar Caribe next to the cafe/restaurant Don Cafeto in mid-town, or Super SanFrancisco at the intersection.
Optional services at additional charge: - Airport transfers - Groceries (soda/beer/eggs/bread/veggies etc) USD 10 fee plus cost of groceries - Breakfast at USD 10 p/person p/day, incl coffee/tea, fresh fruit shake and choice of: 1) fresh fruit w/ yoghurt & granola; 2) toast served w/butter, jam, nutella and cheese; 3) huevos a la mexicana (scrambled w/onion, peppers, avocado and tomato); or 4)huevos La Luna: 2 fried eggs served over crispy tortillas, tomato, avocado and cheese - Dinner (3-course) prepared by local chef, served on private deck or outdoor palapa, for USD 20 per adult and USD 15 per child under 10 yrs. Different prices can apply to larger groups. Price incl water but no other beverages. These can be purchased by the staff and served with your meal. Our local property manager, Malena, can help you arrange for these and many more amenities as well as solve any problems which could arise. Elvia and Rodrigo are on site to prepare breakfast and other meals
