Home is nestled amongst sugar maples: The foliage in the autumn is spectacular as this cottage is nestled among a large grove of sugar maples , beech and ash trees . Many of the trees are approaching one hundred feet tall and many song birds nest in these trees . New Brunswick , Canada is only 60 miles away . Take a day trip to the provincial capital of Fredericton , a beautiful old city on the St. John river . Bangor , Me .[60 miles] has a new casino and is also the home of Best selling author Stephen King .
Be sure to book early for Hunting season !!!!: This area is renowned for hunting as deer, moose and bear abound here . Registered Maine Guides are available with our November hunting package which also includes home cooked meals . Be sure to book early as this package sells out fast . Bookings for this Special will be accepted starting on October 1st on a first come -first served basis .
