Fish / dive / sail / surf / jet ski: Fish offshore for King, Dolphin, Wahoo, Tuna, Spanish Macrel, Sailfish, Marlin, Shark, Amber Jack, Cobia and Barracuda. Bottom fish for Black Sea Bass, Grouper, Snapper, Amber Jack... Fish the beaches and rivers for Snook, Permit, Pompano, Red Fish, Sea Trout, Jack Crevaile, Black Tip Shark and Tarpon. Stuart is an angler's paradise from offshore to bait casting and fly fishing. Divers will love more than a dozen wrecks available to dive in less than 120' of water. Excellent dive shops available. Stuart has the best surf south of Sebastian. There's sail board and jet ski rentals available too. There are offshore charters and party boat concessions galore. Or you can charter a flats boat trip for fly fishing, bait or spin casting the rivers and near shore.
Golf / tennis: Private and public golf courses abound in Stuart and surrounding areas. From par three to championship courses... even put put. Most area tennis courts are Har-true and available day and night.
Dine, spa, theater, explore: Continental, Italian, Pizza, Seafood, Sports Bar, River Front, Mobile Travel Guide rated and even the Osceola Cafe(featured on national TV), Ice Cream and confections, river front bars and cafes on the city's River Walk boardwalk. Dock your boat for free downtown and explore. Directly across the street from building are two excellent day spas. The Day of Delight is a waterfront spa housed in a traditional 'old Florida' home. Get a complete facial and massage in the floral gazebo overlooking the sumptuous garden and the river. Three blocks away is the Lyric Theatre that features traveling national shows as well as comedians and musicians. Winter is the time for art shows, antique car shows, 'Dancing in the Streets' and epicurean events.
