Twenty miles north of Asheville, NC, you may indulge in the many and varied adventures available through the surrounding towns of Mars Hill and Hot Springs, including -- but not limited to --hiking, biking, fishing, and day-trips to Asheville's Biltmore Estate and antique district. Or not. Linger at the Cabin. Curl up with a good book by the fireplace. Sleep in and enjoy waking up slowly in your beautifully furnished, meticulously maintained home-away-from-home. Cedar Creek Cabin is your own private piece of western NC enjoyment. Come often, for no reason at all. Everyone needs a home-away-from-home! We live in the area and will be available to assist you in any way possible during your visit. Dogs are allowed under certain conditions. You must get approval before bringing your dog. Thanks.

There are many outdoor and indoor activities nearby including biking, white water rafting, fishing, hiking, kayaking, a nature center, museums and children's play places.

If outdoor adventure is what you seek, hiking trails are abundant and whitewater rafting down the French Broad River is only 5 minutes from the cabin. If relaxation is what you crave, plan to sit on the front porch and listen to the nearby creek or curl up with a good book by the fireplace. You can also drive 20 minutes to the town of Hot Springs in soak in the mineral tubs or hike along the Appalachian Trail.
