The Guest House at River Estate offers a tropical paradise experience so unique in which nature combines so elegantly with the spiritual world that you will be left speechless. The home offers ultra privacy in a completely pristine natural botanical garden setting that's so close to the beach you can float down the river and back from the property. Our location is central to the north shore area. We're 2 miles from the end of the road and 2 miles from Hanalei town with it's restaurants and shopping. This makes it close to most of the activities and attractions that North Kauai is noted for yet totally removed and close to them at the same time. That's what sets us apart.

Let Go and Feel Your Cares Float Away...: The places everyone drives to see are all within 5 miles in either direction. The most special aspect of our property is the spiritual energy that abounds here. Kauai is a very unique place in the scheme of things spiritually and geographically and River Estate is located in one of the most intense spiritually rich areas of the island and state. You will feel harmonious when you're there. You will feel like the world you left behind on your vacation here is a thing of the past. You will feel one with nature. As the sounds of the river enter your consciousness you'll gradually realize that you are in one of the most special spots on the planet. It's so hard to put the experience into words but I'm trying to as best I can to put across to you how special this location really is. I assure you you'll believe them when you experience the environment and spiritual energy for yourself. Forget a hotel room or condo.

For those of you that like to be cool on the hot days we can get here the house has central air. There's also plenty of ventilation for those of you that like natural air flow and the trade winds blowing through. The grounds are gated for ultimate privacy. This is truly a magical paradise where you can detach from it all and relax in comfort and privacy yet be near all the attractions and activities the north shore of Kauai is noted for.

Guest Book: I just wanted to drop you a note and thank you again for the great time we had. After traveling around a bit, I have discovered there are just three kinds of places you can stay. The first kind is the kind is the one you remember you'll never stay at again, the horrible experience that becomes almost mythic over the years, as you tell and retell horror stories about the price you paid or the people who were having a limbo contest in the next room until 3 a.m. The next is the kind that you never remember. A faceless, generic and bland outpost that serves as adequate but certainly not memorable lodging. The third is the kind that yours is: Unique, providing a singular experience you can be sure you'll never find anywhere else. It was such a pleasure each morning to wake up and look out of our window, listening to the birds and watching the sun come up over the hills.
