You have fabulous views of the mountains out the north-side: large windows frame the mountains perfectly and let them in to the living/dining area. To the south - you have expansive views of the valley and hot air balloons can be viewed floating eye-level or below in the distance. Pinons and sagebrush are the native plants that blanket the grounds of Casa de Cuentos and their sweet smells are all of the aromatherapy you will need while at this tranquil adobe. 4 Kiva Fireplaces--perfect places to sit and read stories , tell stories , or write stories. A supply of wood provided in the adobe-walled courtyard. A Den/Recreation room with pool table, board games, extra living area and sleeping area. New, composite deck with new Hot Springs Sumatran Hot tub off deck on NE side with views of the mountains. New Patio outside of recreation room for Southern exposure and views of the valley

Other Activities: Natural Hot springs- there is a book in house with map explaining locations Ojo Caliente-Hot springs and Spa about 1 hour-Deemed sacred by indigenous Native Americans of Northern New Mexico, Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs has been a gathering place and a source of healing for hundreds, even thousands of years. Come retreat to our secluded refuge. Relax with a massage and our signature Milagro Wrap. Rejuvenate in our legendary waters. Taos Pueblo Indian Tours - Taos Pueblo is the only living Native American community designated both a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and a National Historic Landmark. The multistoried adobe buildings have been continuously inhabited for over 1000 years. We welcome you to visit our village when you travel to northern New Mexico. Regular hours are from 8am-4:30pm (Monday-Saturday) and 8:30-4:30pm (Sundays) with guided tours available. Taos Ski Valley is known for its 'Champagne powder' and excellent lessons and rate packages.
