The house is a duplex with separate and private units set back in the woods making it very quiet and serene. The care taker is next door and is available for tenant needs.
Summer Amenities: The house is a 2 minute walk to Sunapee Lake harbor, where shops, museums, historical sites, restaurants, cyber cafe, marina, boat launch, boat rentals, fishing, concerts on the Gazebo, and sightseeing/restaurant ships are located. Stay at home and the sounds of free Jazz, Folk, and Big band concerts ride the breeze from the Gazebo band stand to the full wrap around deck making your view of the sunset and lake most relaxing. Other local amenities include town beach access just 1 mile away. Plentiful mountain activities are a mere 4 miles away at Mt. Sunapee State Park, where hiking, biking, and a state beach are located. If you want to relax on the links, there are 11 golf courses nearby too, all located within 30 miles. For others looking for the arts, a summer theatre where contemporary adult and youth plays are performed is 9 miles away in nearby New London as well as several galleries.
Winter Amenities: The house is 200 yards from Sunapee Harbor and 4 miles from Mt Sunapee ski area. Other ski areas are accessible as well; 30 minutes to Ragged Mt, 1 hour to Okemo Mt, 1 hour and 15 minutes to Killington, 1.5 hours to Waterville Valley and Loon Mt. Other local amenities for the winter are an ice skating rink in the Harbor area about 100 yards away, snow mobile trails, ice fishing, cross-country skiing, and ice-boating Lots of restaurants and nightlife in Sunapee and New London all within 10 miles.
Ski: The house is 4 miles from Mt Sunapee ski area.
