Charlottetown House Summary
This home is over 100 years old and built for Charlottetown's first harbour master. It is a licensed rental accommodation in the heritage zone of PEI's Capital city. Within walking distance of the waterfront, theater, restaurants, galleries and shops. This is where Confederation was born and period dressed actors stroll past giving tours relating that history. Boat, bus and horse and buggy tours within the neighborhood. Walking distance to cobble-stone, pedestrian-only street with outdoor cafes, live music and boutiques.
The house, built in the 1860's has thick, insulating walls, 8-10 foot ceilings and hardwood floors. It is decorated with antiques and original, mostly Canadian artwork. Fully equipped including kids' supplies.
Beaches, golfing and other tourist destinations are within a 20 minute drive. The house comes with one parking space and a private garden. Although it's located in the heritage district of Charlottetown, you will find peace and quiet in Harbour Master House.

Harbour Master House is located in the heritage area of Charlottetown, the capital of PEI. This is where the Father's of Confederation decided to form Canada. It's 2 blocks from the waterfront, a stroll to the Provincial Legislature, National Art Gallery, Theatres, shops, antiques and galleries, restaurants, tours on land and water, live music and clubs. A lovely area to stroll. You are a short drive to beaches, the National Park with parabolic dunes, award winning golf courses, deep sea fishing, lobster dinners and Anne of Green Gables country. Guests appreciate that they are not far from anything yet can enjoy a well appointed home and garden in quiet privacy.

- One bedroom has a double bed and a twin bed which rolls underneath. We have a Graco crib/playpen. The house sleeps 6 comfortably. We will consider taking up to 8 people under certain circumstances. For instance if two of the people are children. We charge an additional $100 for each additional person. There is a queen pullout bed in the Main Floor family Room.
