The challenging layout will try the best golfers skills. Every year Golf Digest rates this course in the top 50 in the United States. The 27 other golf holes are called the Makai, and are made up of 3 nine hole courses. The Lakes, the Ocean and the Woods. combine to make it a top resort course.
Ocean and Beaches: Hanalei is a 2 mile long half moon bay with white sand, warm water and majestic mountains. Swimming, surfing, and bodyboarding are popular here. Some of the best experiences will be when you seek out one of the many relatively unused beaches. Many have scenic coves, wonderful snorkeling, and a remote feel of old Hawaii. You may want to seek out a scenic boat tour of the Napali Coast. Hiking in this beautiful area always reveals surprises in glimpses of the ocean, abundant flowers and foliage, and the soft trade wind breezes.
