Abundant comforts and amenities include: 2 plush queen beds, a deluxe queen sleeper sofa with privacy curtains and an up-graded ‘air-comfort’ mattress; luscious linens, towels and robes; a dreamy Italian tiled bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub/shower combo (unlimited 'on-demand' hot water); spacious family room with 10’ ceiling, 50' HD Plasma TV with DirecTV, DVD/CD, and surround sound system including speakers in the kitchen and on the RiverPorch, 2 ‘Perfect-Zero Gravity’ reclining leather chairs, leather sleeper sofa, oak and leather pool table, fully equipped Gourmet Kitchen opening to the Dining Room with 10’ ceilings and gorgeous river views. Facing upstream, BirdSong’s northern exposure provides expansive views of Fitch Mountain and the ever-changing river as it bends and flows in its broad channel, filled with an abundance of birds, wildlife and activity. Porch view of Russian River. The morning sun’s rising rays wash over the river basin from the East and the sunset’s western light repaints the riverscape, slowly giving way to evening’s twilight. The water shimmers with liquid moonlight when the moon is bright in the night sky. Day passes to the Parkpoint Health and Swim Club are available for $15/day for adults, $10/day for children 10-16, and $6/day for children 9 and under. This premier club has it all, with heated lap, aqua exercise, and children’s pool; weight and exercise machines; exercise, yoga, and pilates classes; all styles of massage; snack bar; etc.
Golf: For golfers, Healdsburg’s Tayman Park is a very nice public 9 hole, par 35 golf course and driving range; Windsor’s Rooster Run (only 10 minutes away) is a beautiful 7000 yard champion golf course and also available to the public. For a unique golfing experience ‘in the Redwoods’, Northwood Golf Club in Monte Rio (about ½ hour away) is a public 9 hole par 36 course. Many more excellent courses are available within a short drive.
