- The master bedroom, basement room and loft area have full bathrooms. The family area hall way offers a half bath. There are plenty of towels and wash clothes for 12. The masterbathroom has a huge walk in closet and a full size washer and dryer.

- All bedrooms have a very comfortable queen sized bed. The loft area has bunks and a futon. 2 bedrooms have TV'S. All rooms have books, games and great lighting. All rooms are a good size with the masterbedroom being plenty large enough for a crib or air matteress. Children love the loft area! There is a desk in that area with hook up for DSL- just bring your computer. There are plenty of blankets, linens and pillows.

Maggie Valley Cabin Details
General information: Waynesville is a beautiful historical area to go shopping and dinning. Be sure to visit the local bakery there, the cakes are huge and homemade! The best place to buy groceries is Ingles- this store is SO clean and full of great food, treats, movies and alcohol. There is a discount card in the cabin. You really need to buy the Muffins and the chicken salad- it is the best. The county is dry so you have to go to the liquor store on 276 to buy alcohol. You can go fishing at lake Junlaska- get your lic. from the Ace hardware on 19s. Or go fishing in the trout stream that you will cross on the way up to the cabin. Ghost Town is reopening in May of 07! This is going to be great. They will have rides, music, food and all kinds of family fun. Go to Queens Horse farm to ride horses, it is really pretty. It is located on 19s on your way in on the left. If you are vacationing in the cabin at Christmas you will pass a Christmas tree farm where you can cut down your own tree!
Activities: Golf- at lake Junlaska- 15 minutes away Ski- Cataloochee ski resort- 20 minutes away Tube snow- In maggie valley at the entrance of Ghost town Horse Back riding- Queens farm on 276 as you are heading towards maggie valley Shopping- Waynesville, Maggie Valley, Ashville Gambling- Cherokee- 40 minutes away Site see- Everywhere- plenty of state parks to visit White water rafting- 30 minutes away- lots of fun! Sky diving- on Jonathans creek - 276- go past the road to the cabin about 1 mile- it is on the left at the top of the hill. There should be information flyers in the cabin about all these activities. Also check the guest book people write the most interesting things!
Cabin surroundings: The cabin is very private. The roads are dirt for about a mile of the way. You do not need a four wheel drive unless there is a lot of snow- and probably not then either. There is a large drive way and a 2 car garage so there is plenty of room for cars and RV'S. The area is very private- but growing. The kids will have plenty of room to run and play. Paint ball is the best! (bring your own) If you bring a pet they will enjoy the freedom of roaming around. Please be mindful when leaving the pets alone in the cabin that they will hear or see wildlife that could cause fear or excitement! Be sure to buy firewood at the local store on 276 on your way in. There is an axe at the cabin- but why work if you don't have to! The fireplace in the cabin is gas and has gas logs- NO WOOD NEEDED.
Guest Book: ' Our Family Vacation was perfect at the Ruby Lodge. We enjoyed the fine furnishings in the cabin and the attention to detail in everyroom. Relaxing in the hot tub was our favorite part!
