Kula House Summary

Located on the slopes of Haleakala, this large home has some of the best views and weather that Maui has to offer. Our Family vacation home since 1995, we have spent many months here relaxing form the city life of San Francisco bay area. The home is situated on two acres in what is a zoned agriculture area. All the properties around are on similar or larger lots. We are not that far from Kahalui and the North Shore (10 minutes) and Kula proper (5 minutes). Kula is an agricultural area that is quite large and is known for the pro tea flowers is produces. Oprah has recently bought and remodeled a home here, apparently for its views and rural feel. The home has all the amenities for cooking, towels and sheets. It also has an laundry room or you can hang your clothes on the line for drying. We have an 90 tree orchard with mainly avocados, tangerines, oranges, mangoes, papaya and limes. The weather here is generally dry and that eliminates a lot of bugs. The views are panoramic.
