- Major Holidays and celebrated events are peak periods and require a 3 night minimum stay. These include New Years, Memorial Day, Easter, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. - A non-refundable $25 damage waiver is required to insure renter against accidental damages up to $250. A $50 Booking Fee is added to all reservations. Ellijay Cabin Details
The Area: Our north Georgia luxury cabins are dispersed around the many peaks and valleys of the Blue Ridge mountains, rivers and lakes of Gilmer County, Pickens County, Gordon County and southern Murray County. Most of our cabins in the mountains are accessed through the charming mountain towns of Jasper and Ellijay, Georgia, located 60 miles due north of Atlanta, Georgia. Ellijay and Jasper are considered the gateway towns to the Blue Ridge Mountains and are easily accessed within an hour’s drive from Atlanta via the 4-lane Interstate 575/515 corridor that leads to the Georgia Mountains.
Georgia Mountains: The Georgia mountain towns of Ellijay and Jasper are packed with a wide assortment of places to visit, places to dine, and outdoor recreation. Aside from our beautiful luxury cabin rentals and incredible mountain topography, the area provides a mixture of rustic mountain town charm combined with modern conveniences and facilities. The historic districts are alive with charming local merchants, festivals, antiques and restaurants while modern Jasper and Ellijay offer conveniences of main-stream restaurants, major retail shops and grocery stores, movie theaters, Internet café’s, golf courses, and so many more conveniences and amenities.
Area Information: What brings so many vacationers to these mountains are their cravings to be closer to nature and experience the outdoor activities, temperate mountain climate with beautiful natural color, and the abundance of forest, rivers and natural amenities that the area offers. Over half of Gilmer County is protected national forest. Carters Lake, Amicalola Falls State Park, Fort Mountain State Park, the Chattahoochee National Forest, Rich Mountain Wilderness Area, the Appalachian Trail terminus, Apple Orchard alley and other wildlife management areas are just a few of the many wonderful places to visit and experience here in the north Georgia mountains. Whilst the area is immersed in natural beauty, many vacationers require access to modern amenities and conveniences and require the need to feel safe and secure. To satisfy that need, many of our cabins are specifically built in gated resort communities that require a special code to enter, and are monitored by security patrols.
