If you are interested in area history, the historic Fort Morgan is less than five minutes drive and the USS Alabama is within an hours drive. If you are interested in activities, you can go shelling on the beaches of Dauphin Island or enjoy go carting, miniature golf, or a waterpark in Gulf Shores. If it's shopping, the Tanger Outlet Mall offers plenty of opportunity. Visit the newest area attraction, The Wharf, for a Coney Island Ferris Wheel, entertainment and shopping venues. If you just want to relax, kick back in one of the cushioned lounge chairs on one of the decks and listen to the waves crashing on the beaches.
