4/3/07 What a wonderful week it was!: We arrive as planned, everything went well and from the first moment we got to this charming 'casita', which is located in a little piece of paradise, in the middle of a beautiful stretch of beach towards Ensenada (only a couple of hours, south)... we fell in love with this summer home ! The place is clean, well equipped and my kids (2 teenage boys, 15/17 yo) didn't even mind the lack of TV and satellite, we brought our own CD's movies and DVD's, but hardly had a chance to see them, we spent most of the day at the beach ,surfing, swimming, horseback riding and walking the beach, meeting all the nice families that visit the place on a regular basis, as well as supporting the few locals while buying 'their hand made souveniers', to take home, we also got lots of ideas from them, as to where to go for lunch and what to see in Ensenada. Don't forget to visit La Fonda! a tradition on any given weekend~
03/18/07 Positive : Having rented this house for a month I can say, just do it! The private, wide, clean, sandy beach is amazing. The small village of La Mision offers everything you might need and your proximity to Ensenada picks up the extras. We were delighted to explore the nearby wine country and discover Laja, a restaurant offering excellent food and service. The caretakers are helpful and kind. The casita is simple yet covers the basics nicely. The courtyard with fireplace, at night, under the blanket of stars, special. If you are traveling with your dog, this place is perfect. 03/20/07 Positive: I have been going to Baja for 30 years and absolutely loved this place. In fact, my parents own a home in Rosarito, but I am coming back to La Mision next summer! The beach is one of the most beautiful in Baja and it is close to La Fonda, Puerto Nuevo and Ensendada. The house is very cute and clean. Great rental. Shelley Nash, Palos Verdes, CA 310-375-6108
