Just outside of Sandpoint you will find even more…infinite hiking trails both moderate to quite challenging (try Scotchman’s Peak), several golf courses including the Coeur d’Alene Golf Resort with its famous floating green, Hayden Lake Country Club, and the upcoming Idaho Club Resort and Jack Nicolas Signature Golf Course, Silverwood Theme Park which boasts the Northwest's best wooden roller coasters, ride the ski lift in the summer at Schweitzer Mountain, horseback riding at Western Pleasure, pick huckleberries in August, the list goes on….
A smaller lakeside living area for the older kids to retreat to is downstairs. Relax and enjoy at Pierce Lane Lodge. We are waterfront….swim, water ski and fish off the dock, sea kayak, jog, hike, mountain bike on the mountain behind the lodge, rollerblade or bike on the Sagle bike path to Sandpoint, play tennis at city beach, and more, right outside your door.
Whatever you desire, play all day then retreat to the lodge in the evening for a barbeque and bonfire under the starry night in your peaceful private haven.
