Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.
- Rates between $1200-$2100/week and $225-$450/night
- This is the perfect place for your group to enjoy being together, yet easily able to respect each other's privacy at the same time. Just think--The weekly (7 nights/8 day) peak rate of $2100 divided by 5 (bedrooms) = just $300 per week = $60/night per couple (or small family). That's cheaper than most of the local hotels! Plus, the Lodge includes a large dining room /kitchen, river frontage and 40 acres of private land , including 1/4 mile (both sides) of river front to explore! What a deal!
**2 night minimum for Holiday bookings.
**One night weekend bookings unless there is availability within one month of booking.
**Last minute guests with small groups or a couple will be considered for partial rental of the Lodge. Please inquire.

*Check-in time: 3:00pm
*Check-out time: 12:00pm (noon)
*Flexible arrival and departure times based on availability.
*Mid-week holidays will be charged at the weekend rate. - *$500 rental/security deposit required, is applied to your balance. Final payment due 1 month before arrival
*6% MI use tax add.

*$100 set-up fee is incl. Groups of 21-60 people are required to bring add. supplies (tp, towels, etc.)
*Last-minute bookings welcome. Within 30 days require a payment by credit card.
*Flexible arrival-departure time based on avail.
For cancellations 30 days or more prior to your scheduled arrival date, we will refund your reservation deposit, less a $50.00 cancellation fee.
*Refunds will not be given for cancellations within 30 days of the scheduled arrival date. If we are able to rebook the Island for all or part of your reserved dates, we will refund you the rental amount received from the replacement guests, minus a $50 administration fee . If we are unable to book the Island during the time you reserved, then your total payment will be forfeited.
*All 'no shows' forfeit the entire amount of the reservation.

Bike trails: Rapid River Trails (13 miles of trails, just outside the Lodge) Chip-In's Island Resort Casino: W399 US Highway 2 and 41, Harris, MI (approx. 40 miles) Kewadin Casino in Manistique off of Hwy 2 (approx. 40 miles East) Island Casino in Bark River off of Hwy. 2 (approx. 30 miles West) Pictured Rocks Boat Cruises: 50 minutes (approx. 40 miles) (Munising) Dog sledding through the Hiawatha National Forest: 1 hour (Wetmore) Snowmobiling: Enjoy 25,000 miles of trails within the Upper Peninsula, starting from outside the Lodge door! Upper Taquamenen Falls: 2 1/2 hours (Paradise and Newberry)
Weddings, Groups of 20+, Local Events, Retreats!: SMALL weddings: 60 people or less. Minimum 2 nights/3 days. We provide 10 tables + the head table with a grand total of 60 chairs. You are responsible for your own organizing, cleaning, catering, add. supplies, parking organization. Parking for 10-15 cars at Lodge. Call for details. We provide supplies (towels, dishware, linens and toilet paper) for groups of 20 or less. 20-60 people? Please bring extra supplies as needed. *January: Cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, winter fun! *February: Ternary Outhouse Races. *April 15-May 15: Apply for your Bear Hunting License. *Mid-April-May: Turkey Hunting. *Last Saturday in April: Trout season begins (although parts of the Rapid River are open year 'round). *May: Mushroom picking. *June Balloons on the Bay. *August: Upper Peninsula State Fair *September 10 - End of October: Bear Hunting. Rapid River + Driving Time : The Rapid River is a shallow, rocky river which meanders in front of the Lodge, next to the waterfalls. It is a great spot for trout fishing in the Spring. The river connects to Little Bay de Noc/ Lake Michigan, approximately 5 miles downstream. The river fluctuates between 6 inches and 3 feet, depending on the weather. The Lodge is located approximately: *6 hours from Chicago. *7 hours from Detroit. *2 1/2 hours from Mackinac Bridge. *1 3/4 hours from Wisconsin border. *Be careful when using Map-quest. Map-quest takes you to 15th Rd., not S.15 Rd, where the Lodge is located, 6 miles North of Highway 2, 1/2 miles West of U.S. 41, heading North, toward Marquette.
