Edwards Cottage Summary

Long View Cottage has extreme privacy, sitting alone in a quiet cove on Trout Lake, surrounded by 7 acres of private wooded land and bordered by 1700 feet of water frontage. True to its name, Long View Cottage has a view of the entire length of the lake, and looks out on undeveloped Trout Lake State Forest. It has a private Har-Tru tennis court, lighted, regulation-size sand volleyball court, large sandy beach and bonfire. A path leads up to a deck on a small bluff where one can soak in the gas-fired cedar hot tub, enveloped by pine trees and awed by a most magnificent view of the length of the lake. Here one can also dine at the wrought-iron table or read on the lounge chairs. The large sandy beach with a shallow wading area is perfect for young children; older children can swim out to the raft or to Blueberry Island, a private island part of the Long View property. Use of a Boston Whaler motor boat, canoe, and paddle-boat round out this recreational paradise.

Guest Book: 'Things we love about this place: Sunrise fishing on the lower dock, sunset hot tubbing on the upper deck, blueberry picking, reading in front of the fire, working on a puzzle at the big dining table, catching trout at the special spot recommended by John, bike rides around the lake, late afternoon sailing, the floating barbershop serenade, canoeing around the lily pads.
