Add $150 for Christmas or New Years weeks. 6% state tax and 5% local tax. Cancellation: 100% when 60 days ahead of arrival less one night's stay. When cancellation is less than 60 days, the refund is pro-rata after unit is rebooked less one night's stay. We seek to please our guests and feel confident in our rebooking procedures! 100% refund of unused nights when there is a Hurricane Watch issued by National Hurricane Advisory. Go to sharon@creativeconnections.biz for travel insurance which covers costs due to an unforeseen cancellation. We request a current credit card on file for a security deposit. There is never a charge unless there is significant or perhaps deliberate damage and has been discussed in advance with the guest. Normal wear/tear is not considered damage.

The local scuba shop can fix you up with equipment and lessons. Hunt sea shells in the early morning light. Experience the beautiful soft sunlight on smooth sand. Tour the Intracoastal waterways in a water taxi. Get a fabulous massage while looking out over the ocean. I provide a huge beach umbrella and beach chairs. Shhhhh. Just enjoy the QUIET and get the deep down relaxation you need! Our tropical backyard hammock even has a pull cord, so you don't have to keep pushing off with your foot to swing. Now this is relaxing!
Personal attention to detail. 'Concierge': Tired after a long flight? When you check in at WALK-ON-THE-BEACH, your refrigerator can already be stocked with beer, wine, eggs, bread, bacon, sandwich meats, cheese, mayo, and even a special liquor that you can't get where you live. Just call ahead and give us your grocery list. $25 minimum additional charge. Want to make dining reservations ahead of time? Book a trip on an airboat ride? Tour the alligator farm? Want information on Pennycamp the only underwater national park in the United States? Need a baby's crib or toys? How about tickets for a play at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts? Just ask your hostess, Betty Francis, and your problem is solved. How about a plane pulling a banner that reads 'Will you marry me ?'while you are sitting on the beach? Ask about our special 'Forever Memories' list.
Location Advantages.: Walk-On-The-Beach is on a quiet side street off A1A. This provides several additional advantages. 1. Getting over the bridge to US1 (Federal Highway) couldn't be easier. 2. Of all the streets that go over to I-95, (I-95 goes south to Miami and the Keys, or north to Boca and Palm Beach) ATLANTIC BOULEVARD is the easiest and fastest way. Not to mention safest. 3. Easy driving to the best restaurants in the Ft. Lauderdale/Pompano-By-The-Sea. 4. Access posh Boca and Palm Beach north on A1A. 5. Access ritzy Las Olas Blvd. easily south on A1A. 6. Golf Course right across the bridge! 7. Biking trails across bridge. 8. New Pompano Beach Shopping Mall across bridge. (Macy's, Ross, Theatres, etc) 9. Charming on-the- beach restaurants easy to get to. 10. Fast access to downtown Fort Lauderdale.
